My objective was to enure programmes were prioritised against the overall product portfolio and that resources were allocated appropriately to the delivery programmes.
I ran the programme governance matrix for the organisation to raise awareness of major programme status up to Executive Board level. I also lead programmes requiring high levels of expertise or were high profile.
I also ensured that there was a well structured process for business case development and one of the most exciting and interesting pieces of work in this role was the co-ordination of the resource plan and programme governance building blocks for the Global Xpress Programme, a $1.2billion satellite constellation rollout.
